I'm Pulse

Role: Game Design, & Art
Development Time: 16 Hours

Created within 12 hours as part of the Abertay MProf Game Jam 2015 (from the prompt: 'Impulse'), I'm Pulse was created in order to take advantage of a top notch pun, as much as for any other reason.

The game is an three-lane, infinity-runner (think Temple Run), where the player controls the speed of their character through nothing more than their pulse-rate.

Tapping >>Enter<< in a slow rhythm, the player maneuvers around obstacles, jumping and sliding past stumps and fallen logs. They have to be careful, however; with death hiding at either end of the pulse-rate spectrum.
