Origins of Simon

Role: Game Design, Game Art, Sound Design, & Game Programming
Development Time: 48 Hours

Created within 24 hours as part of the Brunel Charity Game Jam 2013, Origins of Simon is an infinity runner which, when sold alongside the other games from the jam, raised about £1500 for charity.

Built around the theme of 'genetics', Simon is a purple rectangle (with great legs) capable of mutating in order to gain any of four different abilities. The player's job is to maneuver the environment, mutating at the correct times in order to bypass the different obstacles which approach.
